Directions to Atchingtan

From Interstate 35 coming from the South

Take exit 195 – Finlayson/Askov (CR 23)
At exit, proceed left (west) over the Interstate
At T-junction, turn right (CR18) and follow signs for Finlayson.

You will see “D’ears” on your right
Make your next left, continuing on CR18

You will soon come to the small town of Finlayson. Petry’s gas station and minimart will be on your left. On the right you will see “Crazy Mary’s Café”. These will be the last available stops for gas and food before arriving at Atchingtan.

Proceed straight through the town of Finlayson for approximately 10 miles.

You will come to a VERY small town called Giese. Please observe the 40 mph speed limit through Giese. Proceed an additional 2 miles. You will see a road adoption sign, then a white barn on the right, slow down, then make a left on 150th Lane.

Proceed down 150th Lane until you come to a crossroads, with a set of mailboxes on the left. You will see a street sign to the left, for 135th Lane and another blue street sign just below it, showing 14730. Turn left onto 135th Lane and drive down the gravel road. The road is wide enough for large vehicles. Bear left when the road forks. Continue down this access road, which will curve to the right, and you will enter the site.

From Interstate 35 coming from the North

Follow the rest of the directions from above, starting with the turn at the T-junction.

From Highway 65 coming from the South

From Hwy 65, you will make a right on CR18 – In approximately 6 miles make a left on 150th Lane.

Proceed down 150th Lane until you come to a crossroads, with a set of mailboxes on the left. You will see a street sign to the left, for 135th Lane and another blue street sign just below it, showing 14730. Turn left onto 135th Lane and drive down the gravel road. The road is wide enough for large vehicles. Bear left when the road forks. Continue down this access road, which will curve to the right, and you will enter the site.

From Highway 65 coming from the North

From Hwy 65, you will make a left on CR18 – In approximately 6 miles, make a right on 150th Lane.

Proceed down 150th Lane until you come to a crossroads, with a set of mailboxes on the left. You will see a street sign to the left, for 135th Lane and another blue street sign just below it, showing 14730. Turn left onto 135th Lane and drive down the gravel road.
