Atchingtan Learning Center
As a small 501(c)(3) Public Charity, Atchingtan Learning Center relies on volunteers and donations.
Thanks to our generous supporters, ALC is able to make the land available to the community for educational and spiritual purposes; to provide a peaceful retreat, a place for people to live, breathe and educate themselves on the concept of permaculture and other sustainable practices; and to give sanctuary to the creatures who honor us with their presence on the land.
And also to fulfil our Mission Statement:
We are at peace in this serene and private space where we, and invited guests, learn from one another and the land, connect with mother earth, and live in the moment. With help from earth-loving souls, we enable the land to care for itself and provide food, medicine, materials and habitat.
Large or small, all donations are tax-deductible and help support the vision of the Atchingtan Learning Center. We will send a confirmation letter that can be used for your records.

To become a Sustaining Donor (monthly automatic donations), you can simply contact your financial institution to obtain an ‘Automatic Transaction Authorization’ form, and submit it to your financial institution to set it up.

Another way to increase your impact is to check with your company’s HR office about its matching gift program. If your company is eligible, just request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to the ALC may be doubled or even tripled. Some companies also match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
When a simple “Thank You’ is inadequate to convey your gratitude for someone who profoundly affected your life, consider a memorial or honorary gift in their name to the ALC. Your gift will express your feelings, and help ensure our ability to fulfill the Center’s mission of providing experiential environmental learning opportunities for all ages. The gift will be placed in a fund which will be used to honor your loved one. All memorial and honorary gifts are acknowledged to both the donor and the family or designated representative of the person being recognized. Please include the name and address of the person being recognized, the name and address of the designated representative of the person being recognized to whom notification can be sent if the gift is a memorial, and your contact information. We also have an ongoing need for a variety of equipment, tools, etc. and appreciate donations of gently used items that are on our wish list.
